In light of rising fuel costs and environmental concerns, STEP tenant company employees are encouraged to take advantage of iPool2, a free Web-based program hosted by the Capital District Transportation Committee (CDTC). Users of iPool2 can easily identify transportation alternatives available to them throughout the Capital Region and surrounding areas including Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Fulton/Montgomery, Schoharie, and Columbia counties, including carpools, transit, and other commuter services.

One of iPool2’s most powerful applications is its carpool partner matching tool. As a potential carpooler, iPool2 can help you discretely identify other interested participants who live near you and have similar schedules and preferences.
