Workforce Initiative

NYSERDA, a national leader in energy technology research, development and deployment, and Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC), a community college with great vision and a tremendous local asset, have been holding discussions regarding the training of the current and future workforce. With the advent of New York State's Tech Valley, the Capital Region is changing, and with it comes changes in employer and employee needs.

Thus, it was with great pleasure that NYSERDA and HVCC introduced the HVCC-in-STEP List Serve. This is an interactive approach to identify training needs within your organization, and share your needs with other local companies and HVCC. Through the List Serve, HVCC will be in contact to help articulate your requirements, be they one time or on-going, offer the training to other companies participating in the List Serve, and provide the training either on-site, or at a location that is mutually agreed upon.
